The Niger Delta region has been in perpetual crises during the past decade. The reason for the crisis is the presence of oil wells in the area. The exploration and management of the environment and their resources are among the many reasons for the crises. Government unfavourable policies have further deepened the crises in the region. This has been manifested in the forms of youth restiveness which has continued to plague the region. The effects of the youth restiveness in the area are numerous. They inclu insensitivity to the needs of the people because of the activities of the restive youths who continue to disturb the exploration process in the region, untimely death of people caught in the crises, e youth restiveness in the region, this article made some recommendations that could help in solving the problems of youth restiveness in the Niger Delta.
